TAT Supports the “Travel with a New Heart for a Sustainable Thailand” Photo Exhibition Encourages the Niche Market of Photo Enthusiasts
Bangkok, July 6, 2011 — The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) is promoting Thai tourism by supporting an exhibition of amazing photographs under the theme “Travel with a New Heart for a Sustainable Thailand.”
The exhibition will feature over 200 photos of people and historical and cultural landmarks from all over Thailand, taken by noted photographer Ajarn Athlon Jullowbol. The event aims to encourage photography enthusiasts and travellers to fully appreciate the beauty of Thailand, from impressive landscapes to the intricate details of the Kingdom's ancient wonders and the joyful celebration of its distinctive culture.
“This exhibition will help to encourage travellers to open their hearts and experience Thailand in a new way by looking at the country through fresh eyes. It reflects the TAT's focus on authenticity and our strategy of emotional marketing, with marvellous photos that invoke memories of the good times and wonderful places found throughout Thailand. The TAT's involvement also is in line with our plan to tap into the niche market of photography enthusiasts, who are quality travellers at both the local and international levels,” said TAT Deputy Governor Prakit Piriyakiet.
The photo exhibition begins on Tuesday, July 21, 2011, and runs until the end of the month. It takes place at the Rajamangala University of Technology Rattanakosin on Tripetch Road, Bangkok and is open between 09.00 and 18.00 hrs.
