Bangkok, 1 April, 2016 – In line with the Tourism Authority of Thailand’s (TAT) creative content strategy that invites people to discover and tell amazing stories about the kingdom and its people, the TAT Newsroom will be launching a special campaign for international bloggers to show off their work and win an all-expenses-paid trip to explore further ‘Amazing Stories in Thailand.’
Mr. Yuthasak Supasorn, TAT Governor said, “TAT is always looking for new ways to tell the many amazing stories of Thailand across a range of platforms old and new. International bloggers who’ve visited the kingdom often have great insight and a range of personal anecdotes about the kingdom that offer a personal connection. We want to reach out to these bloggers and give them a chance to tell their stories and spread a positive image of Thailand. In turn they can be kept up-to-date with all the exciting events taking place in the kingdom’s travel and hospitality industry.”
The new initiative is set to start off with a campaign in May 2016 that aims at attracting travellers from around the world to explore the everyday charms of Thailand and its people. It is the kingdom’s unique blend of culture, traditions and festivals that epitomise “Thainess” and make the country stand out as offering unique experiences to all visitors.
Active bloggers and social media users will be invited to join this upcoming campaign to share their memorable amazing stories or pictures of Thailand. Content bloggers, who have never visited Thailand, are also welcome to join the competition by sharing their ideas and ideals of amazing experiences waiting to be discovered in the kingdom.
Mr. Yuthasak said, “Thailand is one of the world’s most photographed and written about travel destinations, and there are thousands of talented bloggers covering our food, festivals, travel and adventure destinations. We want to give these active bloggers and social media users the chance to show their skills and be further inspired by the kingdom while allowing their many followers to show their support by voting via the specially-created website under the TAT Newsroom.”
