Elephant Life Experience, (E.L.E.), Northern Thailand’s newest educational and most enlivening environmental attraction enables visitors to interact with elephants in the beautiful natural surroundings of Chiang Mai’s mountains.

PROGRAMME
Departure from resort/hotel. Travel to
the private and secluded Elephant Life Experience in Mae Taman Valley, a unique, once-in-a-lifetime experience.
Welcome to the main lodge where you will be greeted by your host and introduced to the "Team" to discuss your programme.
At the lodge, change into your Mahout's Outfit which is yours to keep. Then meet up with your own elephant and mahout.
The first “tusk” will be to get to know your elephant, by watching it bath in the river. By spending time up close with your elephant, you will discover the innate intelligence of these beautiful creatures.
We then continue with a basic lesson of elephant training techniques including elephant commands in a special dialect of the Karen language.
Once this has been mastered, you can take a ride on your elephant to practice your skills.
You will also be given the opportunity to study the lifestyle of their mahouts, and to visit their living area (optional), or you can witness a demonstration of Elephant Artists creating their own masterpieces.
Upon your return to the lodge, relax on the verandah
enjoying refreshments before saying farewell to your elephant. Or enjoy a complementary and leisurely personalised ride on a raft. It is a wonderful experience to relax and enjoy the beautiful river setting before returning to your resort.
Our customers are most welcome to spend as much time as they would like at our camp. It is flexible depending on individual requirement.
The alternative package includes mahout's outfit, elephant painting, rafting and elephant rides and gratuities, but excludes all transportation, and meals (catering).
