Phuket, 8 December, 2015 – The annual Asia Superyacht Rendezvous, the largest gathering of sail and power superyachts in the region, is returning to Phuket from 16-18 December, 2015. The event is celebrating its 15th Anniversary this year.
This year the Rendezvous will be hosted again by the international award-winning Kata Rocks, located in one of the most picturesque areas of Phuket. Positioned next to Kata Noi Beach, which is in the top ten of travellers’ choice for beach in Asia, there will be a jetty set up and all yachts will be anchored in the beautiful bay.
The event will start on 16 December with a fleet blessing ceremony in Thai-Buddhist style, followed by a captains briefing to run through the details of the first race taking place on 17 December, and a cocktail party aboard participating superyacht.
The second day will showcase the Asia Superyacht Rendezvous Sailing Event #1 and the Feadship Challenge. Asia Superyacht Rendezvous Sailing Event #2 will take place on the last day, followed by a Yacht Parade, Asia Superyacht Rendezvous Booty, and wrap up with a Gala Dinner.
