Thailand hosted World Tourism Day for the first time ever, in 2016. The day is an event promoting world tourism by the United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO), the iTravel Channel TV Media Network provided a coverage of the event in this episode.
During the World Tourism Day 2016 Celebrations in Bangkok, Thai Prime Minister General Prayut Chan-o Cha presided over the official celebration at the Siam Kempinski Hotel on 27 September. The theme is “Tourism for All – Promoting Universal Accessibility.”
