Bangkok, 22 February 2017 – ASEAN Beauty 2017, Southeast Asia’s premier beauty show is scheduled to take place from 27-29 April at the Bangkok International Trade & Exhibition Centre (BITEC).
This year marks the 3rd edition of this comprehensive beauty trade show which will continue to play a vital role as a venue for beauty companies and cosmetics sellers to discuss businesses and gain industry insight while attending seminars and educational workshops.
Supported by the Thai Cosmetics Manufactures Association and Federation of Thailand Industry as well as government bodies and related associations, the ASEAN Beauty 2017 will feature international pavilions from Japan, Korea, Taiwan, China, Indonesia, the Philippines, Malaysia and Singapore. Beauty and cosmetic companies and cosmetic brands and suppliers will be looking to showcase products to export around the region and beyond while making global links.
Thailand was chosen to host the annual ASEAN Beauty show because of the country’s strategy location at the heart of Southeast Asia with great connections to the other fast-growing economies in the region.
Thailand is also a big player in the world’s beauty industry and a leader in Asia. Thailand’s cosmetic market was worth 250 billion Baht in 2015. Of which, 150 billion Baht was from domestic consumption and 100 billion Baht is for exports.
Last year, the event attracted 6,145 visitors from 38 countries, who came to source new products and services from 181 exhibitors from 11 countries and to take part in the world-class education programmes.
