Bangkok, 22 November, 2019 – Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) Governor, Mr. Yuthasak Supasorn, recently presided over the opening ceremony of the ‘wOrld Of happiness’ annual light displays for the holiday season at CentralWorld Shopping Complex.
This year, CentralWorld’s spectacular world-class light illuminations span over 4,000 square metres, under the theme of “The Santa Kingdom and the Quest of the Star” featuring Christmas and cartoon characters created by the famous Argentinian illustrator, Javier González Burgos.
Highlights for this year, besides the numerous Christmas decorations and characters, are the 35-metre-tall Christmastree decorated with over two million lights; the five-metre-tall sculptures of Santa Claus, the 10-metre PANDORA Magical Fountain decorated with white and blue crystal lights; a Christmas carol singing contest, and daily light and sound shows.
CentralWorld’s ‘wOrld Of happiness’ is held from now until 6 January, 2020. The daily light and sound show takes place every 30 minutes during 18.00-23.00 Hrs.
