Bangkok, 11 May, 2020, at 10.00 Hrs. – The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), Expedia Group, and the Thai Hotels Association (THA) is inviting travel industry professionals to join the TAT, Expedia Group & THA Virtual Seminar on the topic of “COVID-19 Thailand’s travel and tourism strategies”, that will be held on 12 May, 2020, at 09.00-10.15 Hrs.
Mr. Yuthasak Supasorn, TAT Governor, will deliver a keynote speech on upcoming project announcements and recovery projects including the “Amazing Thailand Safety and Health Administration” (SHA) scheme and how hotels can become involved.
From the Expedia Group, Mr. Ang Choo Pin, Senior Director, Government and Corporate Affairs, Asia will offer an overview of COVID-19 and impacts on the travel and tourism industry. Mr. Nick Andrews, Senior Director, Market Management, will provide travel insights and data, readiness, and rebound strategies.
From THA, Mrs. Marisa Sukosol Nunbhakdi, Vice President and Chairperson of the Environmental Committee, will give industry insights, feedback, and the rebound plan.
The course will be wrapped up with a question-and-answer session, to be moderated by Mr. Ang Choo Pin. Attendees are invited to post questions to the Expedia Group and THA, as well as share industry feedback.
In addition, during the interval, attendees will be able to have a ‘fireside chat’ with the TAT Governor.
