Bangkok, 16 November, 2020 – The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) is pleased to advise that the ‘International Conference on Nation-Building 2020’ will take place on 18-19 November at the Faculty of Engineering Auditorium at King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang in Bangkok.
The conference will ponder critical questions surrounding the ‘new normal’ brought on by the global COVID-19 pandemic such as: How will the world and our life change after the outbreak of COVID-19? How will our normal way of living and doing business be affected? How can the public, private and people sectors work together to build a country and regain its strengths and move forward?
Thousands of delegates from Asia and ASEAN, the Pacific, Latin America, North America, Europe and Africa are set to attend the International Conference on Nation-Building 2020. The event’s five sessions are scheduled for Wednesday 18 November and are: World Projection for Year 2021: Critical Issues that will Shake, Shift, Shape the World in 2021; Development Strategies for Nation-Building in Pandemic New Normal Era; Business Synergies for the Nation’s Resilience in Pandemic New Normal Crisis; Global Transformation in the Age of Pandemic New Normal and Role of Civil Sector for Nation-Building; and Policy and Business Forum: Cross-Sectoral Collaboration for Nation-Building and Recovery after the Crisis?
The International Conference on Nation-Building 2020 was organized by the Nation-Building Institute International (NBII), Nation-Building Thailand, Nation-Building Malaysia, King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang, Asia Future Institute (Korea), Institute of Future Studies for Development and Social Science Association of Thailand.
