Bangkok, 05 August, 2021 – The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) is pleased to announce that its printed promotional material, which so elegantly depicts a diversity of enchanting Thai culture and scenic natural beauty, has won top accolades at the prestigious 2021 Asian Print Awards.
TAT won the Gold Winner award in the Posters section for its ‘Bangkok: From Heritage to Breath-taking Destination’ poster, the Silver Winner award in the Calendars section for the 2020 TAT Calendar, and the Silver Winner award in the Multi Piece Productions and Campaigns section for the TAT Calendar 2019 Premium Boxset.

Now more than ever, this material serves a vital role in keeping the Thailand holiday experience top-of-mind among travellers the world over, for when international travel returns to normal.”
The winning 2021 Asian Print Awards items were produced by the Promotional Material Production Division of the TAT’s Marketing Services Department.
The award for the 2020 TAT Calendar is, in particular, an achievement TAT and all of Thailand can be proud of as 2020 was the year in which TAT celebrated its 60th anniversary. The calendar contains breath-taking images from around Thailand, with each monthly scene portraying the country in all its beauty and charm – a befitting representation of the message TAT brings to the global stage through its promotional and marketing efforts.
The ‘Bangkok: From Heritage to Breath-taking Destination’ poster delivers an awe-inspiring message of its own – come to Thailand and experience the bedazzling capital city of Bangkok, wound through by the mighty River of Kings the Chao Phraya and where heritage and culture blend beautifully with modernity and flare.
The TAT Calendar 2019 Premium Boxset is a beautifully crafted calendar and poster collection neatly contained in an elegant, exotic-looking box container that is designed to grace coffee tables and office displays the world over.
The annual Asian Print Awards recognises outstanding achievements in the print and packaging industries across Asia, thus promoting and celebrating the key elements of professionalism and excellence. They are judged on a quality-oriented set of criteria, and for almost 20 years have been a signature event in the region.
In the 2021 Asian Print Awards, Thailand as a whole performed exceptionally well. Along with the high-profile TAT awards, other award-winning entries gave Thailand a total of 12 gold, 17 silver, and 7 bronze titles, more than any other country in Asia.
