Thailand extends visa exemption for Indian and Taiwanese tourists for another six months

The 30-day visa-free stay will be extended from 11 May until 11 November 2024.

Bangkok, 8 May 2024 – Thailand has extended a temporary visa exemption for tourists from India and Taiwan for another six months to boost tourism. The extended period is from 11 May until 11 November 2024.

This follows the initial phase of visa exemption, which began on 10 November 2023 and is set to expire on 10 May 2024.

Over the next six months, Indian and Taiwanese citizens will be granted a temporary visa exemption for a 30-day stay on tourism purpose in Thailand.
