Bangkok Art Biennale 2024

An international art festival under the theme “Nurture Gaia,” the biennale presents over 200 outstanding contemporary artworks by 76 leading artists from 39 countries, showcased across 11 iconic locations in Bangkok.

Udon Thani’s Red Lotus

In Udon Thani’s northeastern province, the “Red Lotus Sea” (Talay Bua Daeng) blooms this season. Millions of pink water lilies cover Nong Han Lake, about 40 kilometres from the city. To witness this spectacle, arrive early in the morning (around 6:00 AM to 11:00 AM) before the sun intensifies and the flowers close.
