Developed by TAGTHAi in collaboration with Kasikorn Bank, this digital payment solution enables tourists to make payments easily using Thai QR Payment at thousands of locations nationwide.
A Hassle-Free Way to Pay
TAGTHAi EASY PAY is linked to the Prepaid PAY&TOUR card from Kasikorn Bank, providing a safe and convenient alternative to exchanging currency or carrying cash. With the ‘Scan & Pay Like a Local’ feature, international visitors can make quick, seamless transactions just as Thai residents do.
How to Get Started
Tourists can obtain a PAY&TOUR prepaid card at Kasikorn Bank’s foreign exchange booths, including those at Suvarnabhumi and Don Mueang airports. The process is simple—present a passport, exchange currency, and receive the card free of charge, with no application or card fees. To improve accessibility, Kasikorn Bank is expanding registration points to over 100 branches across Thailand beyond airport locations. After receiving the card, users download the TAGTHAi app on iOS or Android, select ‘Easy Pay’, and link the card by entering their passport number and reference number from the card. After confirming the PIN set at registration, the e-wallet is ready to use.
Making Payments and Managing Transactions
Using TAGTHAi EASY PAY is simple. Users open the TAGTHAi app, select ‘Scan & Pay’, scan the merchant’s Thai QR Payment code, enter the amount, and confirm with their PIN. A confirmation screen appears once the payment is successful. This service is widely accepted at businesses across Thailand that support Thai QR Payment.
Beyond payments, the app offers additional features for security and convenience. Users can view transaction history, freeze or unfreeze their card, and withdraw cash at Kasikorn Bank ATMs without fees, up to 10,000 Baht per transaction per day. The exchange rate guarantee allows travellers to convert any remaining balance back to their original currency at the same exchange rate, provided the refund request is made within 15 days and does not exceed 10% of the total top-up amount.

In 2024, the TAGTHAi app surpassed 2 million downloads, with a 105% increase in users and a 183% rise in sales. This growth reflects the platform’s increasing popularity among both Thai and international travellers and highlights the shift toward digital travel solutions.
