Bangkok, 15 February, 2016 – InterContinental Samui Baan Taling Ngam Resort has launched a special ‘family room’ concept to its exclusive selection of rooms, suites and villas in its main building.
Starting from 65 square metres, the highlight of these rooms is the children’s corner. It features a bunk bed, bean bags, a toy treasure chest, and children-sized bathrobes and slippers. The stay in the ‘family room’ comes with a free access for kids to the resort’s Planet Trekkers Kids Club, supervised by a team of experienced and qualified child minders.
The décor remains in tune with the Thai colonial style of the resort, using dark wooden floors and furnishings which are set off elegantly against a muted colour scheme and lightened by vivid splashes of colour.
For families, a stay at a Family Room, Suite or Villa, will come with daily breakfast, two hours of complimentary babysitting services daily with a certified nanny, and one 60 minute therapeutic body massage for two adults. In addition, all children’s meals at the hotel outlets are complimentary, access to Planet Trekker Kids Club is free and one Junior Master Chef Class is included during the stay.
With views over the Gulf of Thailand and the surrounding coconut plantations, the InterContinental Samui Baan Taling Ngam Resort comprises 79 elegant rooms, suites and villas spread out on the vast 22 acre premises. Two restaurants serve modern European cuisine as well as Thai and Asian delicacies, while the two bars offer snacks and tapas and a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. Other facilities include the Baan Thai Spa by HARNN, and Planet Trekkers Kids Club.
Koh Samui is an hour’s flight from Bangkok with direct domestic connections to Phuket and Pattaya. International direct flights with key Asian cities include Hong Kong, Singapore and Kuala Lumpur.
