Bangkok, 12 May, 2016 – The Centara World Masters Golf Championship 2016, which is sponsored by the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), has just announced a special upgrade to the tournament. Participants will get to experience two out of four championship rounds on Hua Hin’s best golf course, Black Mountain Golf Club. This change on the tournament golf courses will definitely increase interest of golfers during the final call for this event.
Some 450 amateur club golfers from all around the world are expected to join this event, which will be held from 12 – 18 June, 2016. They will compete for US$50,000 in prizes. There are 15 different age and handicap divisions. The tournament will be held at three courses in Hua Hin, Thailand – Black Mountain, Banyan, and Sea Pine Golf Course.
Joint Organisers, Mr. Peter McCarthy and Mr. Mark Siegel, Managing Directors of Go Golfing and Golfasian are very confident that Centara World Masters will be successful in term of number of participants and total earning to Thailand’s tourism industry during this low season.
Mr. McCarthy said “The city of Hua Hin will light up again this year once all of the golfers has arrived. Every restaurant and other businesses are looking forward the month of June. They all remember our old participants and ready to welcome the new ones.”
