Bangkok, 02 May, 2018 – The fourth annual Asian Organic Gourmet Festival, held in Bangkok from 22 to 25 March at 137 Pillars Suites & Residences on Sukhumvit Soi 39, has raised over 300,000 Baht (US$9,500) for The Beaumont Partnership Foundation.
The event featured daily gala dinners, cooking shows, a daily farmers’ market, a wellness day, and the highlight – the finale brunch. It brought together top chefs from around the world, including Chef Colin Chung from Fiji, Chef Tolgar Mireli from Turkey, Chef Javier Rodriguez from Argentina, Chef Anchalee Pongrunsit from Thailand, and Chef Nanang Prasetya Aditama from Indonesia.
The event also raised over 300,000 Baht for the Beaumont Partnership Foundation, an organisation that works to give underprivileged children in rural Thailand a quality education and with it the chance of a better life.
The money donated to The Beaumont Partnership Foundation was raised through a variety of means including a luxury auction during Chef Javier Rodriguez’s Gala Dinner on Saturday night and a luxury raffle that ran over the entire four days. Some of the high-end items available in the raffle and auction included stays in luxury suites and villas around the world, a pair of business class tickets on Turkish Airlines to Paris plus two nights at The Peninsula Paris, and a hot air balloon ride in Chiang Mai.
