Los Angeles, USA, 27 April, 2021 – The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) Los Angeles Office has announced a new marketing partnership with Japan Airlines, which will mark the first major national marketing campaign with an airline for Thailand in the United States since the pandemic began last year.
Thailand’s tourism industry attracted more than 1.1 million U.S. visitors in 2019 and the country is eager to once again open its doors to the American market.
Ms. Siriwan Seeharach, Director of TAT Los Angeles Office, said, “As restrictions on travel to Thailand ease and more Americans seek to fulfil their wanderlust, we believe now in the right time to launch this important initiative. We’re expecting this campaign to generate a renewed level of interest in Thailand as a coveted travel destination.”
“With the recent recognition of Amazing Thailand’s Safety and Health Administration (SHA) to be on par with WTTC SafeTravelers global health and hygiene standardized protocol and Japan Airlines’ recent certification with the highest 5-Star COVID-19 Airline Safety Certification by Skytrax, we feel confident that travellers will trust in our safety measures and book Thailand for their next vacation.”
Travellers can book exclusive Thailand luxury air and hotel vacation packages from Japan Airlines’ dedicated website at www.jal.co.jp/ar/en/thai/ from now until 30 September, 2021.
Japan Airlines, which has been recognized as a Skytrax 5-Star airline for the second consecutive year, has one of the strongest networks from the U.S. to Asia, with weekly flights from 11 U.S. gateways.

We are delighted to be working in partnership with the Tourism Authority of Thailand to create new, luxury air and hotel packages that include a variety of special experiences and benefits.”
The exclusive packages will also feature hotel stays at iconic Bangkok hotels and resorts, The Siam and The Peninsula Bangkok.
