A Paradise-Like Island: Ko Lipe in Satun, Thailand
Chen Yang Su aka Nick Su is one of the winners of the 2nd TAT Newsroom Blogger Thailand competition. This is his original blog entry.
Imagine a paradise-like island of white sand, clear water, blue sky and less-travelled beaches, Ko Lipe is definitely the treasure yet to be explored in Thailand.

Ko Lipe is a dream attraction for the nature lovers and adventurers, not only because its remote location and stunning scenery, but also for its varieties of marine life, in which people can completely enjoy their relaxation and forget about time.

An ideal paradise should be isolated from urban civilization.  Ko Lipe can be only accessed by ferry and speedboat services from Pak Bara pier on Thailand's mainland.

Even though, people can still experience their staying from a simple bamboo huts to a luxurious resort. People here love to enjoy the tasty fresh seafood, local Thai cuisine and delicious international food, not to mention fun and night life in many beachside restaurants and bars.
Ko Lipe is compact enough to explore its beauty on your own foot, you can either choose from diving, snorkelling or touring nearby islets, even doing nothing and take a siesta, waiting for an unforgettable sunset at sunset beach here.

Time is still in Ko Lipe. This beautiful island is a shining star and sparkling in the Thai Andaman Sea, enchanting people to exploring its purity of charms.
