March 2023’s many festivals and events offer fun, culture and tradition
| |
There is much to see and do in March when it comes to festivals and events around Thailand. The month itself is particularly significant as it includes the important Buddhist festival of Makha Bucha Day, which celebrates a gathering between the Lord Buddha and 1,250 of his disciples and is observed on the full moon day of the third lunar month. This year’s Makha Bucha Day falls on 6 March.
